The 'Hello' hitmaker doesn't seem to care much about her broken trophy as she keeps smiling onstage.

AceShowbiz - Adele's clumsiness was caught on camera as she broke her Grammy trophy onstage. The 28-year-old singer broke the trophy onstage, just a moment after she delivered an emotional and touching speech about how she didn't deserve to win over Beyonce Knowles. Despite breaking her trophy into two, Adele didn't seem to be sad as she kept smiling on stage. She even held up a piece of the gramophone-shaped trophy and showed it off.

The British soul diva's broken trophy lighted up Twitter as they joked about Adele breaking the trophy so she could share it with Beyonce. A user wrote, "Adele broke her Grammy to share with Beyonce because she is an angel and she gets it. #GRAMMYs." Another user even wrote that Adele channeled a scene from "Mean Girls" in which Cady Heron broke her tiara into two when she was crowned Spring Fling queen. The user tweeted, "Adele pulled a cady heron."

The broken trophy was not the only incident that happened to Adele at the Grammys. The "All I Ask" singer also became the talk of the town after demanding to restart her tribute performance for George Michael. Adele needed to do over the song because she realized she had been singing in wrong key.

Despite the mishap, Adele received a wave of supports from the crowd. The President of the Awards Show, Neil Portnow, also praised Adele's decision. Portnow said in a statement that although he wasn't sure what was going on with Adele, the 28-year-old singer "did the right thing."

"What I think was magnificent was it shows the humanity of live television, but it also shows professionalism. You heard her say she's a perfectionist, so she's not gonna settle for something she's not comfortable with," he said, before adding, "Rather than just go along, she did the right thing."

The president also added that he wasn't aware of any technical difficulties during Adele's performance, but he didn't mind to take the blame if the case turned out to be true.
