The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker is reportedly begging her team to make her the next Emma following the latter's success in 'La La Land'.

Taylor Swift reportedly wants to be the next Emma Stone. Following the success of "La La Land", the "Shake It Off" hitmaker is planning a musical flick and begging her team to make her the next Emma, according to a source. But some of her handlers don't think she's ready to put her tap shoes on just yet.
"A lot of people are asking Taylor to do a musical [after 'La La Land' won six Golden Globes and netted 12 Academy Award nominations]," a source reveals to Radar Online, "Except her team is blocking everything!" Taylor's team reportedly wants her to get some acting lessons although she has landed small roles in "The Giver" and "Valentine's Day".
The source adds, "They don't think she can handle the acting part of it so no one knows how to tell her. She seems to wonder why Emma Stone is such a big ingenue, and thinks that it should be her. Her ego is so massive there's no way her team can tell her that some of them don't think she has the chops. Let's just say, it's been a challenge."
A representative for Taylor hasn't responded to a request for comment.
