Donald Trump's supporters threaten to boycott Budweiser over its immigration-themed Super Bowl commercial. POTUS' fans hate immigrant so much that they want to boycott the beer company after they used their Super Bowl ad this year to highlight the story of its German-born co-founder, Adolphus Busch.
As previously reported, the company insisted that the ad was not meant to be political. Though it was well-timed given President Trump's controversial immigration and Muslim ban, the company told CNN that "the coincidental timing is just that--a coincidence." The company claimed that the commercial focused on the universal story of immigrant.
Still, many fans of President Trump are angry over the pro-immigrant ad. Since the ad was released last week, POTUS' supporters have taken to Twitter to protest the ad, causing the hashtag #BoycottBudweiser becoming a trending topic on the social media.
"@budlight No thanks... it's time to #BoycottBudweiser. We don't need your beer, your opinions, and your illegal immigrants," one user tweeted. Another user wrote, "BOYCOTT BUDWEISER <> #BOYCOTT @Budweiser. Political ads have no place being aired during #Superbowl#Americans."

Some others, meanwhile, poked fun at the trending topic. One user hilariously used the hashtag while tweeting, "lol boycotting Budweiser because the founder was an immigrant.are you going to drink only Native Americans brewed beer?" Another user said, "Soon trump supporters will run out of food and drink options.May I suggest some Flint tap water?"
