The 'No Problem' rapper proves his love for 'Arthur' as he performs the kid show's theme song on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' with Ziggy Marley and the host, Stephen Colbert.

AceShowbiz - Chance the Rapper's love for the '90s cartoon "Arthur" has been widely known since 2014, when he posted his cover of the kid show's theme song on Soundcloud. But he took his love for the kid show to another level by performing a cover of its theme song on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" alongside the host, Stephen Colbert, the show's band leader Jon Batiste and the writer of the song, Ziggy Marley.

The 23-year-old rapper appeared on the video segment of the show. The video begins with Colbert working on his desk when Batiste walks by while humming the kid show's theme song. The two reminisce about the song and the good old days, before Marley suddenly comes and plays along with Batiste out of nowhere. Chance the Rapper later joins the team in a teddy bear sweater as he sings in front of animated background. The four adults perform the song brightly as they sing, "And I say hey!/ What a wonderful kind of day/ Where you can learn to work and play/ And get along with each other."

Colbert explained that he had two reasons to choose the kid show's theme song for the collaboration. First, because the song told people about "cooperation, people coming together from different walks of life and living as one." The song was talking about the kind of attitude people need to use in their life, rather than succumb to the sadness of life. As for the second reason, he simply chose the song for "the nostalgic punch."
