The follow-up to Legendary's 2014 monster movie will be the first feature film for the Jane 'Eleven' Ives of the Netflix series.

AceShowbiz - "Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown has got her first movie role. The 12-year-old actress, who is known for her breakout role as Jane "Eleven" Ives on the Netflix series, has signed on to star in "Godzilla: King of Monsters", according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The follow-up to Legendary's 2014 monster movie will be directed by Michael Dougherty. The 42-year-old helmer's also serving as co-writer with Zach Shields, his partner in Legendary's horror movie "Krampus". As of now, plot details are still kept under tight wraps.
"Godzilla: King of Monsters" is set to be released in U.S. theaters on March 22, 2019. It will reportedly be leading up to a crossover with "King Kong" which will return to the big screen in "Kong: Skull Island" on March 10. The "Godzilla vs. Kong" is tentatively planned for 2020.
Brown appeared on shows like "Once Upon a Time" and "Grey's Anatomy" before starring as Eleven the telekinetic girl on Golden Globes-nominated "Stranger Things". The British actress earned Screen Actors Guild and People Choice Award nominations for her performance as Eleven.
