Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's relationship is set to be the subject of a new documentary by best-selling author Ian Halperin. Rumor has it, the film will detail the inside story of Brangelina's romance.

Among Brangelina's darkest secrets set to be exposed in the documentary, reportedly titled "Broken: The Incredible Story of Brangelina", is a shocking revelation that the former couple was actually estranged for more than a year before Angie filed for divorce from Brad in September 2016, according to The Sun.

"This is the definitive film about Brangelina and a lot of secrets are going to come out," a source reveals, "Ian has covered every cough and spit of their relationship and will reveal the real reasons behind Angelina filing for divorce."

The source adds, "The biggest shock will be his claim that the couple were apart for more than a year prior to their break-up. He and his team have also managed to acquire some never-before-seen footage and interviews with both Brad and Angelina. Lately the pair have been trying to put on a united front and keep their divorce discussions quiet. This is the last thing they need."

The documentary will reportedly be aired on TV around the world after the rights were acquired by Content Media Corporation.

Back in 2009, Ian published a book charting the untold story of Brangelina's relationship. He even predicted that the couple would split up seven years later.
