The CW has announced the release date for "The Flash" and "Supergirl" musical crossover. The highly-anticipated two-part crossover will kick off at the end of "Supergirl" March 20 episode, with the bulk of the action taking place on "The Flash" on March 21.

Titled "Duet", the episode will be directed by Dermott Downs and include singing performances from lead stars Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist, who are both "Glee" alums, as well as Broadway vets Jesse L. Martin, Victor Garber, Carlos Valdes, Jeremy Jordan (II) and John Barrowman. There will also be non-singing guest appearances from David Harewood and Chris Wood.

The CW hasn't revealed who will be cast as The Music Meister, the main villain of the piece.

Earlier this month, executive producer Greg Berlanti revealed that they hadn't cast the main villain, but the team would finish writing the script this weekend.

"Supergirl" returns on Monday, January 23 at 8 P.M. EST, while "The Flash" returns on Tuesday, January 24 at 8 P.M. EST on The CW.
