The 'Chasing Time' femcee also suggests that she should host the event alongside far-right writer and personality Milo Yiannopoulos.

AceShowbiz - As Donald Trump's presidential inauguration is fast approaching, it's still unclear who will be performing alongside "America's Got Talent" alum Jackie Evancho. While a number of musicians decided to cancel their performances, controversial rapper Azealia Banks is volunteering herself to perform at the ceremony.

Early Wednesday, January 18, Banks shared her thoughts on the lineup, which currently consists of 3 Doors Down, Toby Keith, Sam Moore and Travis Greene. Taking to Facebook, the rapper expressed her disappointment with the lineup and said she would love to be on the bill.

"Saw the entertainment line for the inauguration it made me very upset," so she wrote. "This is an EPIC moment in modern history and it should def be celebrated in style. I would love to perform at the inauguration."

The "Chasing Time" femcee also discussed her idea for the ceremony in a since-deleted Instagram post. Banks suggested that she should host the event alongside far-right writer and personality Milo Yiannopoulos.

"The inauguration line up is so trash," so she wrote. "I should have been performing the big big beat at the inauguration. Who are any of these people associated with it? And who the hell authorized this s**t? This election was waaaaay too lit for there to be such a lack-luster celebration. Me and Milo should be hosting it and turning that party into the teen choice awards."

Yiannopoulos seemed to like the idea as he and Banks traded brief comments of support on the latter's Facebook post. "You're my first, second and last choice," so Yiannopoulos wrote. "Me and you in the front row looking MAAAAD cute omg we would break the internet," Banks responded.

On the same day, New York Daily News reported that R&B and soul singer/songwriter Chrisette Michele would be performing at the president elect's inauguration. According to the news outlet, a deal was reached weeks ago with sources claiming Michele and her team wanted to keep the news a secret because they feared backlash.

Insiders added that Michele was approached by Trump's team to perform "Intentional" with Travis Greene, Tye Tribbett and Jonathan McReynolds. But two of the three declined, so Michele decided to move on with an R&B set.
