AceShowbiz - Bella Hadid was understandably super mad when finding out that The Weeknd had moved on from her with Selena Gomez. A source has revealed how the Victoria's Secret model reacted to her ex-boyfriend's budding romance with the 24-year-old songbird, telling E! News that she's "hurt" because she's not completely over the Canadian crooner yet.
"She is actually not over The Weeknd. She still loves him," the source reveals to the news outlet, adding that the two former lovers "are on fine terms, but she is bitter about the romance with Selena."
"She was not happy when all of that gossip went everywhere between The Weeknd and Selena," the source continues. "It really hurt her seeing Selena be all up on her man. She still feels like they have a connection."
As previously reported, The Weeknd and Selena were caught kissing outside of Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica earlier this week. Letting everyone know that she's not okay with the relationship, Bella immediately unfollowed the "Hands to Myself" hitmaker on Instagram.
Some other E! News sources then said that the new couple originally planned to keep their romance a secret before they went very public with it during the dinner date. One source added that though the relationship began not so long ago, The Weeknd had been having his eyes on Selena for quite some time.
"Abel though always had a thing for Selena," the source explained. "He thinks she is extremely talented and sexy. They recently started talking before the holidays but she has been on his radar before. They are on the same level with expectations and think the other is really fun. They are taking things slow and getting to know each other."
