AceShowbiz - It's officially over between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard as their messy divorce has now been finalized. TMZ was the first to report that a judge signed the couple's final divorce agreement in a hearing in a Los Angeles court on Friday, January 13.

"This is a great day, all Amber wanted was to be divorced and now she is," Heard's attorney Pierce O'Donnell told Daily Mail. "In the words of Gerald Ford, 'Our long national nightmare is over,' " he added, referencing to a quote from President Ford.

Heard was previously trying to renegotiate the divorce settlement so that she could take the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star's deposition. However, the judge allegedly declined the 30-year-old actress' request and said that enough was enough.

An insider revealed that the judge also "rejected Johnny's request for Amber to pay his attorney fees. Amber is not paying his legal fees either." The source added, "The settlement, the original terms, will be enforced."

Depp and Heard got married in February 2015. The "Justice League" actress filed for divorce last year in May following several accusations, including her claim Depp had physically abused her. "The Rum Diary" co-stars settled their divorce for $7 million in August.
