Drake and J.Lo 'Fake' Their Romance Only to Sell Music

According to an insider, if the 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker and the 'Ain't Your Mama' songstress 'were really dating, they'd be way more private about it.'

AceShowbiz - As Drake and Jennifer Lopez continue to show affection for one another, fans start to question whether their relationship is real. Rumor has it, the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker and the "Booty" singer are using their chemistry to sell their new music.

"This relationship is fake, it is just a publicity stunt to publicize their record together," a music showbiz insider tells Page Six, adding, "If Jennifer and Drake were really dating, they'd be way more private about it."

The insider points out Drake's emotional tribute to his then-girlfriend Rihanna at MTV VMAs back in August. "Doesn't Drake realize that it looks weird to declare his love for RiRi at the MTV awards, then start flaunting his chemistry with J.Lo a few months later?" says the insider.

Drake and J.Lo celebrated New Year's Eve together at Hakassan nightclub in Las Vegas. During the bash, he performed "Work", "Hotline Bling" and "Fake Love".

Other sources suspect J.Lo may have rekindled romance with her ex-husband Marc Anthony as they shared an onstage kiss at the 2016 Latin Grammy Awards back in November. He filed for divorce from his wife of two years, Shannon De Lima, on December 16.

However, a source close to Marc insists he and J.Lo are not reconciling but remain close in order to co-parent their 8-year-old twins Emme and Max.
