Billy Gilman and Sundance Head were the frontrunners in the finals, but Josh Gallagher and We McDonald were also vying for the champion title.

AceShowbiz - "The Voice" has crowned its new winner in the season 11 finale. Many predicted that the battle for the champion title would be between Billy Gilman and Sundance Head, but Josh Gallagher and We McDonald were also still in the running for the prize.

After a bunch of performances, including Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande's duet of their new song "Faith", host Carson Daly announced the final results. Josh finished in the fourth place and it wasn't a surprise since his voice couldn't match that of Billy or We. Alicia Keys, however, lost her chance to earn her first "The Voice" win after her protege We was eliminated in third place.

The winner of the latest installment of the singing competition series is Sundance, giving Blake Shelton his fifth win on the show. Sundance cried as his family joined him onstage. He sang his original song "Darlin' Don't Go", which he debuted in Monday's show.

Also in the Tuesday, December 13 finale, the Top 4 brought back eliminated contestants for group performances with fellow teammates.

"The Voice" returns with season 12 on February 27 on NBC, with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani as coaches.
