After appearing in "The Conjuring" and "Insidious", Patrick Wilson is about to cause tidal wave in "Aquaman". Deadline reveals that Patrick will play Aquaman's evil half-brother named Orm or Ocean Master.

It is the role Wilson is happy about. "Tehee. Here we go," he wrote on his social media account. He is not a newbie when it comes to DC Comics-based movies. Years ago, he starred as Nite Owl in 2009's "Watchmen" and recently had a cameo in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" in which he lent his voice as the President of the United States.

The Aquaman movie focuses on Arthur Curry a.k.a Aquaman, a half-man and half-Atlantean who leads Atlantic Ocean and tries to gain his glory. Enters his half brother, Orm, who is as powerful and creating a hindrance that puts everything in havoc. Aquaman, therefore, is obliged to prevent his evil half-brother from snatching his empire of high seas.

"Aquaman" is produced by Peter Safran and directed by James Wan, who is also known for his works on "Insidious" and "The Conjuring". Wan described the upcoming superhero movie as "a classic sort of swashbuckling action-adventure" and "a quest story in the spirit of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' meets 'Romancing the Stone'."

Jason Momoa stars as Arthur Curry a.k.a Aquaman, and Amber Heard is cast as Mera, Aquaman's love interest and The Queen of Atlantis. The action, adventure, sci-fi movie is scheduled to be released on October 5, 2018 in the U.S.
