'The Voice' Finale Part 1: The Top 4 Perform
TV

Which singer delivers a show-stopping performance in an attempt to prove that she/he deserves to be the winner?

AceShowbiz - "The Voice" finalists are just one step away from being named a new winner or going home empty handed. On Monday, December 12, Billy Gilman, Sundance Head, We McDonald and Josh Gallagher performed two songs in addition to a duet each with their respective coaches.

Billy opened the show with "My Way", starting it out a capella on a pitch black stage. The emotional performance was so beautiful. His coach Adam Levine said that "the song matched up so beautifully" and the performance might have just won him "The Voice".

Josh followed it up with his original song, "Pick Any Small Town". The feel-good country song has lyrics that would make us nostalgic for their hometown, but the performance didn't stand out. Still, his coach Adam said he's so proud of him and Blake Shelton was impressed.

Up next was We, who sang her duet with Alicia Keys. They covered Stevie Wonder's version of "Ave Maria" and both of them played pianos, backed with a children's choir. We unsurprisingly nailed it and her voice matched perfectly with Alicia's.

Sundance later performed his original song "Darlin' Don't Go" which he wrote for his wife Missy after they had an intense fight. The song proved his artistry, but Sundance's voice couldn't compete with Billy's or We's.

Billy then returned to the stage for a duet with Adam. They sang "Bye Bye Love" which is a fun song and Billy certainly could sing better than his coach.

We's original song is titled "Wishes", which showed what kind of music she would make as a professional singer. She showed off her powerful voice. Alicia's proud of her and said that there's no ceiling for We.

Josh and Adam delivered the next duet performance, singing "Smooth" by Carlos Santana. The performance was fresh and fun, but didn't show the true strength of Josh's voice.

Sundance and Blake then teamed up for a rendition of "Treat Her Right", which was originally sung by Sundance's father Roy Head. The unique performance showed a new side of Sundance, proving how ready he's as an artist.

Josh later returned for his final song, "Jack and Diane" by John Mellencamp. He put his own spin on it and it was the perfect song for him. The performance got the crowd moving.

Sundance covered "At Last", which he turned into a country song with an orchestra. The result was a memorable performance that once again showed his artistry and his strong voice.

Billy followed it up with his original song, "Because of Me". The performance solidified his transition from a country star to a pop singer. Adam aptly called it the most "definitive" moment of Billy's career.

We closed out the night with a cover of Barbra Streisand's "Don't Rain on My Parade". She showed her impressive techniques and proved why she deserved to be in the finals, if not winning the competition.

Voting for the winner is open now. The results will be announced on Tuesday, December 13 at 9/8c on NBC.
