Nicki Minaj celebrated her 34th birthday last week by vacationing in Turk and Caicos with her boyfriend Meek Mill. Even though she was taking some time off for her special trip, the "Anaconda" hitmaker might also film a video for "Black Barbies".
Nicki teased fans by sharing on Instagram on Saturday, December 10 a preview clip of the visuals. Donning a red one-piece, she is seen sitting on the beach pathway while playing with her ponytail.
Fans were excited, but Nicki had some fun with their expectations. She responded to her fans with tweets like "Who said anything about a video? [thinking face emoji]" and "*sits back and watches yall spazz* [laughing face emoji] #BlackBarbies."
"Black Barbies" is Nicki's take on Rae Sremmurd's hit song "Black Beatles" featuring Gucci Mane. In this song, she takes a dig at the President-elect Donald Trump as she relates to many immigrants in the U.S.
Recently, Nicki teamed up with Fetty Wap for tropical pop song "Like a Star". She also debuted new bouncy track "Ain't Gone Do It" which was featured on her mobile game app "Nicki Minaj: The Empire".
