Rihanna reportedly mingled with Akon as she and her ex-boyfriend Drake avoided each other in Abu Dhabi. RiRi was expected to bring out Drizzy at her headlining after-race concert following the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, but he didn't show up.

While eyewitnesses said that Drake's DJ, Future The Prince, was backstage supporting RiRi along with Rita Ora, Paris Hilton and Akon, there was no sign of the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker.

A source tells Mirror, "Rihanna was an hour late to the stage and didn't impress us too much. It was like she didn't want to be here. We were so gutted she didn't bring out Drake especially as he was already in the country. It just doesn't make sense that they wouldn't duet together."

Following her concert, RiRi headed to the F1 VIP lounge to meet Akon. According to The National, the "This Is What You Came for" hitmaker entered the venue with "a mini army of security guards," before she "slipped out" to meet the "Lonely" hitmaker.

"After chastising one of her security officials, she slipped out on her own and strolled around the lounge unaccompanied. It was a sight to give any bodyguard a cold sweat," the site reports, "Even more shocked was the crowd; they created a path for Rihanna as she made her way to greet Akon. After 20 minutes, she had had enough and exited the lounge accompanied by her entourage."

On her way out, RiRi took a selfie with Omarion.
