Katie Holmes is moving on with Kiefer Sutherland. The "Dawson's Crek" alum is now rumored hooking up with the "Designated Survivor" star following her painful breakup with Jamie Foxx, with whom she allegedly has an on and off romance for years.

OK! reports that Holmes was first attracted to Sutherland when they were working together in the 2012 film "Phone Booth". However, she was dating Chris Klein at the time, while Sutherland was in a relationship with Canadian actress Catherine Bisson.

An insider says that the rumored new couple reunited last summer at a mutual pal's party in New York. "It was the first time they'd seen each other for a couple of years," the source shares. "There has always been a special bond between them, and when their paths crossed, it felt very comfortable."

Now that they're reconnected, Sutherland has reportedly been the one comforting Holmes after her split from Foxx. "Kiefer has been the perfect gentleman to Katie. He's putting the smile back on her face after her harsh breakup with Jamie," another source claims, adding that the two actors are "taking things slowly, but they clearly think the world of each other."

Neither Holmes nor Sutherland has responded to the rumor. The 37-year-old beauty has been reported dating Foxx for quite some time now, but they never said anything about being more than just friends.
