While donning a yellow cape, mask and the Robin logo, the 31-year-old actress says she will be a good sidekick for Affleck's 'The Batman', asking, 'Any room for a plucky sidekick?'

AceShowbiz - While Marvel and ABC Studios may consider Anna Kendrick to play Squirrel Girl on their new half-hour comedy series based on "New Warriors", the 31-year-old actress is apparently interested to portray another superhero. In recent interview with MTV, Kendrick said that she would make a good sidekick for Ben Affleck's "The Batman".

"I just wish I knew someone who was directing an action movie and could cast little old me," the "Pitch Perfect" actress began before asking Afleck for a role in the upcoming DC movie. "Holy coincidence Batman! Any room for a plucky sidekick?" she said while donning a yellow cape, mask and the Robin logo.

"Oh my god, where did you get the cape?" the 44-year-old actor responded, looking a bit shocked, before adding, "I'm not sure we're having a Robin, so tough luck." Kendrick retorted after he "killed" her dreams, "It is 2016, and I don't know need this patriarchal bulls**t." She added, "Do I not have the stamina? Do I not have the look, Mr. Trump?"

Affleck recently said that there was no Batman movie happening yet. "We're still trying to figure it out, you know, get the script and budget and all that stuff," he explained before clarifying his comment on the movie title. "We're just going with 'The Batman' or 'Batman' movie."

Meanwhile, Affleck stars alongside Kendrick in "The Accountant" which is coming to U.S. theaters this Friday. He plays Christian Wolff who is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations.
