Kim Kardashian didn't think the men raiding her Paris apartment and robbing her at gunpoint were used to committing major crimes. Citing sources close to her, TMZ reported that the reality TV star told Paris cops that the thieves looked like a bunch of amateurs to her.

According to Kim, the thieves "were extremely hesitant and tentative" as they put her in and out of the bathtub in the bathroom in which she was tied up and gagged. They also pointed a gun at her head before walking away only to pull the gun again for no clear reason.

Kim additionally said that the robbers, who only spoke French, even appeared to be arguing over how to pull off the heist. She added that the police uniforms the men wore looked more like Halloween costumes and that they put her jewelry in a garden-variety backpack before running away with it.

They also dropped a $33,000 necklace as they fled the scene and left behind the zip ties and duct tape used to silence Kim.

However, it's worth noting that a Paris police official recently told Us Weekly that the robbers might have intentionally dropped the necklace outside of Kim's apartment building to make them look like amateurs. One of them also pretended to fall of his bicycle.

"They wanted us to believe that they were amateurs, but all the real clues point to them being extremely sophisticated professionals," the police official said. "There is no way a gang like this would drop stuff and fall off bicycles - all that was done for any cameras that might be in the area."
