A Canadian fan doesn't want to brag to her friends that she talks to the One Direction singer on the phone because she lives in Canada and 'no one really cares about it anymore.'

No one in Canada cares about Niall Horan anymore, according to a Canadian student who recently had a chance to talk to him in a radio interview. The female fan named Eve called into Australia's "Kylie & Jackie O" show on Tuesday, October 4 and had a little chat with the Irish singer during a Q&A before she kind of dissed him on air.

Eve first asked Niall who his dream golfing partner would be and admitted she didn't know who Stephen Curry (II) was when the 23-year-old heartthrob mentioned the NBA star. Before she ended her call, one of the hosts told her to brag to her classmates about her phone conversation with Niall.

"They will totally lose their minds, go on," said the host, to which Eve replied, "I'm sorry but I'm in Canada, no one really cares about it anymore." She added, "I know. People suck... That's not my fault." After she hung up, the host then tried to comfort Niall, telling him, "Sorry buddy. We'd chop that out if we weren't live."

Niall is currently promoting his debut solo single, "This Town". He, however, isn't the only One Direction member who has been busy with his solo project while the band's on a hiatus. Harry Styles recently wrapped up the filming of "Dunkirk" and signed a solo record deal. Louis Tomlinson is apparently also preparing to launch solo career while taking care of his son, Freddie.

The awkward moment starts around the 1:01:00 mark in the embedded audio below.
