All Eight 'Harry Potter' Movies Return to IMAX Theaters This October

Ahead of the release of 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them', Potterheads can once again see all eight 'Harry Potter' movies in theaters starting October 13.

AceShowbiz - "Harry Potter" is returning to IMAX theaters this month. IMAX has announced that ahead of the release of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", Potterheads can once again see all eight "Harry Potter" movies, from "The Sorcerer's Stone" to "Deathly Hallows: Part II", in theaters starting Thursday, October 13.

In addition to the announcement, IMAX has promised that fans will be treated to an exclusive sneak-peek of the upcoming spin-off movie staring Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell and Ezra Miller. J.K. Rowling's latest movie in the world of wizards is set for a November 18 release in U.S. theaters.

Greg Foster, CEO of IMAX Entertainment and Senior Executive Vice President of IMAX Corporation, said in a statement, " 'Harry Potter' is one of the most beloved film franchises of all time and is incredibly important to the history of IMAX."

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was first released on November 4, 2001. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, the last movie was divided into two parts. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" debuted on November 19, 2010, while "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" opened on July 15, 2011.
