AceShowbiz - Kanye West was forced to cut short his New York show because of a "family emergency." The rapper didn't explain what exactly had happened, but reports saying that his wife Kim Kardashian was "held at gunpoint" in Paris emerged shortly after he ended his set at the Meadows Festival on Sunday night, October 2.
Kim's spokesperson told CNN that the reality TV star was inside her Paris hotel room on Sunday evening when "two armed masked men dressed as police officers" came in and pointed their gun at her. It's unclear if she was robbed, but she fortunately wasn't injured in the incident. "She is badly shaken but physically unharmed," her rep shared.
Kanye likely jetted off to Paris to be with his wife upon learning of the incident. On Sunday, he was in the middle of performing his song "Heartless" when he told the crowd that he had to end the show early. After he left the stage, the Meadows NYC wrote on Twitter, "Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early. Please get home safely."
Kim has been in the French capital for the Fashion Week. Joining her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, the 35-year-old star had to skip Blac Chyna's baby shower. However, she made sure she showed support for the pregnant model by congratulating her via FaceTime.
