Ahead of her debut appearance in the next episode of "Empire", Mariah Carey has released a new song she recorded with the show's star Jussie Smollett, who plays Jamal. Titled "Infamous", the track has been made available for listening pleasure.
A huge fan of Carey, Smollett says of working with the R&B diva, "It was great." He also tells EW when met on the Chicago set of the music drama, "She's a sweetheart. She's a professional and, you know, this is a long time coming."
Carey plays a singer named Kitty, a mega-superstar who comes to Empire to collaborate with Jamal on an explosive new song. According to the official synopsis for the upcoming episode, Cookie hopes this collaboration will help Jamal overcome his inability to perform.
