Here's the first official trailer for Netflix's new original series, "The Crown". Based on the award-winning play "The Audience", the big-budget historical drama chronicles the early days of Queen Elizabeth II's reign.

Claire Foy plays Queen Elizabeth II, with "Doctor Who" alum Matt Smith as her husband Prince Phillip. John Lithgow plays Sir Winston Churchill, Victoria Hamilton is the Queen Mother, Jared Harris plays King George VI, Vanessa Kirby is Princess Margaret, and Dame Eileen Atkins plays Queen Mary.
Stephen Daldry directs the ten-episode first season. Morgan, Daldry and Andy Harries executive produce the drama series, which is set to arrive on November 4.
