Idina Menzel is engaged to her boyfriend Aaron Lohr, whom she first met when the two appeared in the 2005 film adaptation of Broadway's hit "Rent". The "Let It Go" hitmaker announces the happy news via Twitter on the same day she releases her self-titled album "idina.".
"What an incredible week. Thank you to everyone for all your support with the album," Idina writes, before following it up, "As if this week couldn't get any better I have wonderful news... my man and I are engaged! We are so happy. It's a beautiful time."

Idina and Aaron made their first red carpet appearance together at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., in April 2015. The couple moved in together last fall. Prior to her relationship with Aaron, the "Queen of Swords" singer was married to fellow Broadway star Taye Diggs before their separated in 2013. They share a 7-year-old son Walker Nathaniel.
