AceShowbiz - The first full trailer for the much-anticipated Netflix documentary "Amanda Knox" has been released. The intriguing video features extensive interviews with Knox, her then boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, reporter Nick Pisa and Italian prosecutor Giuliana Mignini as well as reveals details about the murder case of Meredith Kercher back in 2007 in Italy.

"If I'm guilty, it means that I am the ultimate figure to fear, because I'm not the obvious one," she says. "If I'm innocent, it means that everyone's vulnerable... And that's everyone's nightmare." The prosecutor notes, "Why was the girl covered in a blanket? A man would never think to do this," implying that Knox is probably guilty of murdering her roommate.

The murder of British exchange student Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy has become a case study in the vagaries of crime and punishment. Seattle native Amanda Knox and her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were convicted and - after four years in prison - acquitted for Kercher's murder, though just what happened on that November night remains shrouded in mystery.

This gripping, atmospheric documentary from directors Rod Blackhurst ("Here Alone") and Brian McGinn ("Ferrell Takes the Field") revisits the story with unprecedented access to its key players, posing troubling questions as to why both the legal system and outside observers got so much wrong about the case.

"Amanda Knox" premiered at Toronto International Film Festival on Friday, September 9 and will be released on Netflix on September 30.
