Mariah Carey is gearing up for a new album. While sharing some updates about her upcoming album, the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" hitmaker teases a possible collaboration track with The Weeknd.

"Being back in the studio, which I am - right now, I'm making new music and getting ready to go on a Latin American tour," Mariah tells Extra's Mario Lopez, "So it's like all these things I don't really talk about because I'm not like Queen of Promotion. [I can't wait to] get these new songs out and get on the road and reveal them darling, have a reveal."

When asked about possible collaboration with The Weeknd, Mariah replies, "Well, it's not planned out yet, I know he's doing a lot right now. We had a really good conversation and we'll see. I think he's a really talented artist."

The 46-year-old singer previously teased on Instagram a possible collaboration with Jermaine Dupri.

Mariah will continue her Caesars Palace residency "Mariah #1 to Infinity" show on September 7, 10 and 11 before kicking off her Latin American Tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 28. She has an upcoming eight-part reality event on E! called "Mariah's World", which premieres on December 4.
