The 'Body Say' hitmaker teases her Twitter followers about 'getting soulful' in the recording studio.

Demi Lovato is gearing up for new music. The "Cool for the Summer" hitmaker teased her fans on Twitter on Saturday, September 3 about hitting the recording studio. On Sunday, she followed it up with another update.

"Damn it's gettin soulful in this studio....," Demi tweeted. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter then took to Instagram Story to share a black-and-white photo of the recording studio. This will be Demi's first song since releasing "Body Say" back in July.

On Friday night, Demi wowed concertgoers at her "Future Now" concert at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland with a moving cover of Adele's "When We Were Young". According to the "Let It Go" singer, "When We Were Young" was one of her favorite songs and it was her first time singing it live.

It's, however, not the first time Demi has covered Adele's hit track. Last year at KIIS FM Fall Ball in Seattle, the "Heart Attack" songstress performed "Hello".
