Emma Stone stole the attention with her gorgeous look at the premiere of her film "La La Land" at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday, August 31 in Italy. She graced the red carpet in a silver Atelier Versace gown with a flapper detail floor-sweeping hem and a polo neckline as well as a slick of silvery shadow in the corners of her eyes. She showed her cheeky smile with a dab of pink lipstick on her lips.

The 27-year-old lady was joined by British actresses Gemma Arterton, who was simply dressed in a black gown, and Ella Purnell, who wore an off-the-shoulder jumpsuit. Other stars hitting the red carpet included Italian actress Valentina Lodovini, Hungarian model Barbara Palvin and German singer Nina Hoss. Legendary actor Jeremy Irons also arrived with his wife Sinead Cusack, with both sporting traditional garb.

Earlier in the day at the event, Emma talked about working with Ryan Gosling again after 2011's "Crazy, Stupid, Love.". 'It's wonderful to work with somebody you know, trust and respect so much," she said. "He's my buddy. I knew he could sing and dance. Once you've learned to ballroom dance with someone, you've learned everything you need to know."

"La La Land" has garnered huge praise from critics. The film which is directed by "Whiplash" filmmaker Damien Chazelle follows a romantic relationship between a dedicated jazz musician, played by Ryan, and an aspiring actress as they are exploring the joy and pain of pursuing their dreams. It is due for limited release December 9 before opening wide on December 16 in U.S. theaters.
