Avril Lavigne is reportedly working on a new album. The new record will be a follow-up to her fifth studio album "Avril Lavigne", which was released back in 2013 and featured collaborators like Martin Johnson, Peter Svensson, David Hodges, Matt Squire and her then-partner Chad Kroeger.
According to her drummer Rodney Howard, Avril's sixth studio album might debut in September or October. On Tuesday, August 23, Rodney shared a throwback clip of the 31-year-old Canadian songstress performing "Here's to Never Growing Up" on the "Tonight Show" in 2013 and captioned it, "Looks like the Disco Ball drums are gonna be coming back out for some September/October action."
On the same day, Avril shared on Instagram a fan-made video of her Marilyn Manson collaboration song "Bad Girl" featuring Harley Quinn's scenes from "Suicide Squad".
Back in 2015, Avril released a single titled "Fly" for the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games. The "Complicated" singer was also featured in a promotional single called "Get Over Me" for Nick Carter's third studio album "All American".
