Blake Shelton is facing the wrath of internet users due to some old Twitter posts. A number of racist, sexist and homophobic tweets he reportedly sent out back in 2011 recently resurfaced online and immediately sparked outrage on social media.

Those posts, which authenticity is yet to be verified, are no longer available on Shelton's account. But the world can read the offensive tweets thanks to other Twitter users who posted screenshots of the messages.

In one tweet, he allegedly likened a foreigner to a terrorist as he wrote, "Wish the d**khead in the next room would either shut up or learn some English so I would at least know what he's planning to bomb."

In another, he made a homophobic comment about a random guy he met at a coffee shop. "Standing in line at a coffee shop in LA talking with the man in front of me. He orders a skinny caramel latte. I couldn't tell he was gay!!!" he said.

He also wrote an inappropriate comment about Dakota Fanning, who was just 16 when he tweeted in 2010, "Soo... I just figured out a great excuse for my sick fantasy about Dakota Fanning. I thought she was Amanda Seyfried."

After the tweets went viral over the weekend, fans quickly took to Twitter to trash "The Voice" coach. "You can delete a tweet, but the Internet will never forget. Blake Shelton is Islamophobic garbage. Don't support him," one commenter said. "Racist piece of s**t... So Blake Shelton did everything in the past, being homophobe, being racist, a pedophile, and animal cruelty? I am speechless...," another added.
