Adele is one of the biggest money makers in music industry. The British chart-topping singer is predicted to earn a whooping $80 million this year alone and has a $10 million mansion in Beverly Hills, but she still has days when her credit card gets declined just like the rest of us.

She told the crowd at her concert in San Jose, California about an embarrassing incident she had during a retail therapy in the city. "I went to H&M and my card got declined," she said. "Oh my days, pretty embarrassing. Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified."

Although she certainly can afford luxury, she still prefers affordable stores like Target and H&M for thrift shopping or inexpensive place to eat like In N Out burger. "They have everything! Literally I spent $100 on stuff I do not need, I never need anything I buy at Target but it's amazing," she said.
