Taylor Swift's Famous Pals Uzo Aduba and Todrick Hall Support Her Amid Feud With Kimye

Aduba says Swift's strong enough to get past the battle with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, while Hall slammed the pair for secretly recording the rapper's conversation with the pop diva.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift still has a lot of people defending her amid her nasty feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. After Selena Gomez, Martha Hunt and Ruby Rose, some other members of her squad have just come forward to show support for the 26-year-old singer following the leak of her phone conversation with West.

Uzo Aduba, who's been friend with Swift for a while now and was among famous faces joining her 4th of July party earlier this month, believes that the "Blank Space" hitmaker's strong enough to get past the battle with Kardashian and West. "She's a beautiful person and strong," the actress told Vanity Fair during a screening of her new Netflix movie "Tallulah" earlier this week.

Another pal defending Swift is Todrick Hall, who slammed "shady" Kimye in a new interview with PEOPLE. "In the words of Sweet Brown, 'Ain't nobody got time for that.' I've had my Regina George moments in my life, [but] I think there's a reason why you would call someone and record them," he told the publication.

"I'm not sure of everything that happened or did not happen, but all I know is I feel that I would feel taken advantage of if someone recorded me without me knowing it," continued the singer, who's known Swift since he last year released a mash-up of her greatest hits.

"My heart goes out to her because she never asked to be a part of this whole Kimye experience. She just wanted to accept an award. And it's just, literally, like 'Bring It On' - you know how they keep making 'Bring It On' movies again and again and again? It's like it doesn't seem it will end," he added before praising Swift, calling her "one of the most genuine people I've ever met in my entire life."

Despite being a fan of Kimye, Hall couldn't agree with the way the pair treated Swift. "I feel like people should always have the opportunity to defend themselves. To be called on a whim and be asked to be a part of something that you half-know what it is and it's controversial? That's not the way things should have been approached. It should have never been presented on a phone call in a shady, dark room," he shared.

Swift has been attacked on social media after Kardashian released on Snapchat a string of videos showing the former country superstar approving those controversial lyrics about her on West's "Famous", something she had several times denied in the past. She may sue the pair because recording a conversation without both parties' consent is illegal in California.

Interestingly, Swift once said that she's afraid of being secretly recorded. In an interview released more than a year before her feud with Kardashian-West began, she revealed to the U.K.'s CapitalFM, "I have a lot of issues with buildings like this, 'cause I always feel like someone has bugged the room, and is either videoing me or recording me... So that's one of my paranoias."
