Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman were spotted filming at Cardiff Bay in Wales on Wednesday, July 13.

AceShowbiz - He did it again! Benedict Cumberbatch was spotted jumping off the roof when filming "Sherlock" season 4 at Cardiff Bay in South Cardiff, Wales on Wednesday, July 13 but this may be less harmful than the fall scene in the second season finale "The Reichenbach Fall".

As fans recall, Sherlock faked his death by jumping off the rooftop at the end of season 2. But instead of a rooftop, the eccentric detective was jumping off the roof of a boat onto the lower deck during the production of season 4. He was joined by his loyal companion John Watson (Martin Freeman) in the scene.

"Sherlock" season 4 has been filmed since April and Freeman confirmed that it would likely premiere around Christmas in the U.K. Plot details are still kept under wraps, but rumor has it, villain Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott) will make a return.

Co-creators, writers and executive producers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss teased fans, " 'Sherlock' series four - here we go again! Whatever else we do, wherever we all go, all roads lead back to Baker Street - and it always feels like coming home. Ghosts of the past are rising in the lives of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson bringing adventure, romance and terror in their wake. This is the story we've been telling from the beginning. A story about to reach its climax..."
