AceShowbiz - Nick Young nearly pulled a Jason Pierre-Paul as he celebrated the Fourth of July this weekend. The NBA star was close to losing his hand after he held a lit firework while hanging out with his friends on Monday night, July 4.
According to a Snapchat video obtained by TMZ, one of his pals lit up an artillery shell before the 31-year-old athlete, for some dumb reason, picked it up, held it above his head and let it explode in his hand. His friends, who initially cheered him on, gasped in shock after the explosion. Luckily, he doesn't appear to be badly injured.
Young clearly didn't watch a recently-released PSA titled "#FireworksHurt" in which Jason Pierre-Paul recalled the moment he blew up his hand with a firework last year. The NFL player lost some fingers in the in the Fourth of July incident, which almost ruined his life as well as his career.
