Internet went abuzz with Tom Hiddleston's alleged radio interview commenting on his relationship with Taylor Swift. The actor reportedly described it as "a roller coaster," but his representative quickly set the record straight.
The rep warned fans that Hiddleston's phone interview played on Belgium's Qmusic radio show was "totally fake." The chat during which he supposedly discussed T-Swift romance was actually "stitched together from old interviews."
"I would describe it as a roller coaster ride of action and spectacle and lots of laughs," Hiddleston said in the interview clip. "She is an absolute delight. She's actually, um...She's got such a wicked sense of humor and she's a really fun person to have around. She's really great."
QMusic admitted to Bustle that it was indeed just "a joke" and they apologized for any confusion. "I'm afraid it was a spliced together recording of old interviews," they said. "[Radio hosts] Maarten and Dorothee called Tom 2 years ago and used the footage as a joke a few days ago. We've explained right away on our website that the whole story wasn't true. We are sorry for the confusion."
