According to a recent report, the 'Shake It Off' singer called Harris just days after the car crash and vaguely told him she needed some space.

Taylor Swift apparently learned something from Joe Jonas following their breakup. Years after the former Jonas Brothers member dumped her over the phone, the 26-year-old singer did the exact same thing to her most recent ex Calvin Harris only days after he got involved in a car crash last month, according to TMZ.

Sources familiar with the situation told the site that Swift called Harris from Nashville while he was recovering from the accident and she vaguely told him she needed some space. He was reportedly stunned and understandably got mad. The site additionally said the 32-year-old DJ and his ex hadn't spoken to each other since then.

The TMZ report, however, was shot down by another source who said that Swift flew to Los Angeles following the car crash to help Harris recover.

Swift famously claimed back in 2008 that Jonas broke up with her in a 27-second phone call. During an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show, she said back then, "It's all right - I'm cool. You know what, it's like, when I find that person that is right for me, he'll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I'm not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18."

In response, Jonas denied he ended the phone conversation after only half a minute, saying Swift was the one ending the call. "I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk," he said.
