This is what Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean?" would sound like if it was created in the '80s. Canadian producer Tronicbox recently turned the upbeat pop/tropical house song into a slow-tempo ballad and uploaded the result, which sounds as amazing as the original, on SoundCloud.

Tronicbox completely removed the beat from the original and replaced it with reverb-heavy drums, saxophone and keyboard. The rework came along with equally interesting artwork showing what Bieber would've looked like as an '80s heartthrob.

The original "What Do You Mean?" was released last year and peaked at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100, becoming Bieber's first-ever No. 1 hit on the chart. It is featured on the 22-year-old singer's latest album "Purpose", which he's currently supporting with the "Purpose" tour.

Tronicbox has also reworked another hit from the LP, turning "Love Yourself" into a slighly more upbeat '80s song. He also gave Ariana Grande's "One Last Time" a similar treatment and transformed Zara Larsson and MNEK's "Never Forget You" into something that could've been sung by Paramore.
