Meat Loaf is doing better after onstage health scare in Edmonton, Alberta. The 68-year-old rocker was transported to a nearby hospital after he collapsed from "severe dehydration" in front of the crowd, cutting short his concert at the Northern Jubilee Auditorium.
"His vital signs are stable and normal - he's responsive and recovering well," his rep says. "He extends his heartfelt thanks for everyone's support and well wishes, and is expecting a speedy and full recovery. Any concert postponements/rescheduled dates will be announced at a later time."
Before falling unconscious, Meat Loaf reportedly struggled throughout the show. It's unclear if he will still proceed with his Saturday night gig in Cold Lake, Alberta as scheduled, but he had already canceled his shows in Moose Jaw and Calgary due to health issues.
