Bey described it as "a song about love" when introducing the track in front of the crowd packing the Ford Field. "I'd like to dedicate ('Halo') to all of the family members who lost family members in Florida," she said before starting the song.

The Tuesday show was the last in the first leg of her "Formation" world tour, which comes in support of her latest album, "Lemonade". Beyonce and her crew are taking a two-week break before kicking off the European leg on June 28 in Sunderland, England.

At the same show in Detroit, DJ Khaled who's been opening for the Queen invited the Motor City's own Dej Loaf during his set. The raptress performed her singles "Try Me" and "Back Up" before Khaled brought out Young Jeezy for the renditions of "Who Dat" and "Out Here Grindin' ".
