Harry Styles was recently pictured showing off his new haircut. The One Direction member looked very handsome with his new 1940s-style hairdo on the set of Christopher Nolan's World War II film "Dunkirk", which the singer stars in.

The boybander was seen wearing a brown military jacket atop an olive shirt while mingling with some extras who were also dressed in the same uniform. At one point, the 22-year-old British singer sported a bandage on his left hand with fake blood on it.

The action film, which also stars Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Fionn Whitehead, is Harry's big-screen debut. The name of his character has yet to be revealed, but multiple sources said that his character could be one of the 338,000 troops evacuated from Dunkirk to save them from German soldiers in 1940. The film is based on the real life evacuation from the French coast, which was one of the biggest operations of the Second World War.

Harry announced on social media that he had chopped off his long hair earlier this month, posting a photo featuring his cut-off ponytail. He also revealed that the hair would go to a charity that provides wigs for young cancer patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.
