Tyga Says He's 'Good' After His Split From Kylie Jenner
Celebrity

The 'Hookah' rapper and the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star ended their relationship before the 2016 Met Gala last week.

AceShowbiz - Tyga has broken his silence on his split from girlfriend Kylie Jenner just hours after the news emerged. The "Hookah" rapper spoke to E! News while promoting his upcoming clothing line collaboration with Marcelo Burlon for a Saks Fifth Avenue capsule collection on Thursday, May 12.

"I'm good, you know?" Tyga said when asked about how he's been doing since the breakup. "Just another day and working hard and trying to get to that next level and achieve big things and evolve." The rapper added that he's definitely working on designing his own line eventually, but he "won't put a timeline on it."

Tyga and Kylie's breakup news emerged following Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian's pregnancy news. Sources told TMZ that Tyga and Kylie called it quits before the 2016 Met Ball last week. The pair both attended the gala but they did not walk the red carpet together. According to the source, it was Kylie's decision.

Sources said the couple split because "Kylie was bent out of shape that Tyga had the nerve to go to the Met Ball. He was only invited because of her, and she's mad at herself that she didn't think to have him made persona non grata."

Tyga previously took his mother and a model for a lunch on Mother's Day, but he's not telling friends whether she's his new girlfriend.

Kylie seemingly went back to her mom Kris Jenner's home following the split. On Wednesday, May 11, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star took to Snapchat to share her thoughts about love and more in a vulnerable, while showing her old bedroom to her fans.

"Do any of you OGs remember my old bedroom? I think I'm gonna be in here for a few days. I miss it," she said. "It's so cute how many of you remember my old room! And the pictures and the dead flowers. I don't know, I just love this room. I feel like it has so many memories."

Kylie also spoke to her big sister Khloe Kardashian via Snapchat and posted snippets from their conversation. "And, I don't know. I love really hard," the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister said at one point. "I think that is enough from me for Snapchat tonight."
