The basketball player defended the former 'Kocktails with Khloe' host, who got a backlash for releasing some photos of him during his hospitalization back in October 2015.

People were unimpressed when photos of Lamar Odom on life support in the hospital after his near-death experience were featured on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians". They seemed to criticize Khloe Kardashian for publishing the images which she took back in October 2015, but the basketball player came to her defense.
According to an insider, Lamar defended Khloe after knowing that she got the backlash from fans for releasing the tragic photos. "Lamar's not tripping on those photographs. It is what it is," the source told HollywoodLife.com.
"Thats what really happened to him and those images are part of his journey to a full recovery. Lamar pushed Khloe to put those images out there because it's a reminder of how close he was to death," the source continued. "Lamar may not be the most outspoken public figure, but he does hope that people out there who see him clinging to life in those images think twice before making a decision that could land them in that hospital bed."
The former "Kocktails with Khloe" host took the photos reportedly "to share his progress" when he got better." The source shared that before deciding to show the images on the famous reality show, Khloe asked Lamar whether he wanted to show it or not.
It's not surprising that Lamar defended Khloe because as previosuly reported, Khloe had been very supportive and she helped Lamar go through his hard times at the hospital. She also supported him financially during his hospitalization.
