Harry Styles says goodbye to his luscious hair. The One Direction star has chopped off his signature long mane and takes it to Instagram to show a lock of his cut-off ponytail. "Whoops," so he captions the photo.
The hair won't go wasted though. The British singer adds hashtag, #Littleprincesstrust, to inform his fans that the hair will go to a charity that provide wigs for young cancer patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.
Harry is currently on a break with his bandmates. "I don't know if it's a hiatus or a breakup, to be honest," he told Billboard. "In a weird way, I don't want to know. I don't think they've had enough time to experience what it's like not being in the group to really answer that."
The singer is expected to try his hand at acting by starring Christopher Nolan's upcoming World War II film "Dunkirk", joining Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh. It's unclear if his new hair has something to do with his movie role.
