The first official look at Saban's color-coded superheroes has been unleashed. A new picture, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, reveals the five Mighty Morphin Power Rangers lining up for duty. They are wearing their powered suits.
Instead of keeping the original spandex with metallic armor, the heroes get new full-body armors in the movie. And it doesn't sit well with fans. Some call it out for ruining their childhood while others mock it as an Iron Man knockoff.
Directed by Dean Israelite ("Project Almanac"), the "Power Rangers" movie is due in the United States on March 24, 2017. The titular superheroes are played by Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, Becky G, Ludi Lin and RJ Cyler. They are joined by Elizabeth Banks as the devilish Rita Repulsa.
