Britney Spears is already a big winner of the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. The singer is set to receive the prestigious Millennium Award at the upcoming event which is taking place in Las Vegas on May 22.
Having a number of chart-topping singles in her 20-year career, including "...Baby One More Time" which has gone 14 times platinum in the U.S., Britney will be honored with the prize for her exceptional achievements and influence in the music industry. Beyonce Knowles and Whitney Houston are among past recipients of the award.
Britney will also attend the 2016 BBMAs as a performer. The pop superstar is slated to deliver a medley of her hits and probably her new single too. There have been rumors that she's close to dropping "Make Me (Oooh)" as the first preview of her next album.

The 2016 BBMAs will be broadcast live on ABC from the T-Mobile Arena at 8 P.M. ET/5 P.M. PT with Ludacris and Ciara as co-hosts. Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Pink and DNCE are among other stars scheduled to perform.
