Musicians mourning Prince's death continue to pay tribute to him. The latest to do so was D'Angelo, who honored the Purple One by doing a cover of "Sometimes It Snows in April" in the Tuesday night, April 26 episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon".

Wearing a black shirt paired with a furry outer and a black hat, the R&B singer sang the ballad while playing the piano. He's joined on the stage by Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum who formed a Prince cover band called Princess.

Jimmy Fallon welcomed D'Angelo to his late-night talk show for the moving performance only a day after he paid tribute to Prince on Monday's "Tonight Show" by recalling an unforgettable ping-pong match with the late music icon.

During the episode, Fallon told the audience that on the night he welcomed his daughter, Prince suddenly challenged him to a table tennis match at Susan Sarandon's club SPiN in New York City. "I open the curtain, and Prince is standing there with a double-breasted crushed blue velvet suit, holding a ping-pong paddle," said the funnyman, adding that Prince ended up beating him with a score of 21-10.
