Azealia Banks and Sarah Palin have just started a feud. The former Alaskan Governor threatened to sue the 24-year-old rapper after she wrote a series of tweets which suggested that Palin should be sexually assaulted.

The drama began when Banks slammed the 52-year-old politician, saying that she should "have her hair shaved, get headf**kced by a big veiny, ashy, black d**k and then be locked in a cupboard." She wrote the tweet seemingly after Palin talked about "black people willingly accepting slavery."

After deleting the hate-fueled tweets, Banks responded to a fan via Twitter that she "would never wish a woman to be raped" and that she said " 'BANG' as in bang some sense into that h-." Besides, Banks opened up about her plan when she heard about Palin's alleged decision to sue her. "LOL, if Sarah Palin actually decides to sue me i'll only use the controversy to make myself an even larger American Cultural Figure," she wrote.

However, Palin didn't take the rapper's tweets as jokes as she said that she would really sue the "Ice Princess" rapper. "I've had enough of the unanswered threats and attacks against my family and me," Palin told PEOPLE. "So, for the first time I'm going to enjoy the only retribution some protected 'celebrities' seem to understand."

Palin insisted that she would file a lawsuit against the rapper. "I'm suing Azealia Banks and can't wait to share my winnings with others who have gone defenseless against lies and dangerous attacks far too long," she continued.

Seemingly afraid of Palin's threats, Banks posted a lengthy letter of apology on her Tumblr account, saying that she actually "really" liked Palin and she "was completely kidding" at the time she wrote the controversial tweets. "Sincerely apologize for any emotional distress or reputational scarring i may have caused you," Banks added.
