Jada Pinkett Smith didn't seem to have a chip on her shoulder after Chris Rock poked fun at her at the 2016 Academy Awards. She didn't take the joke personally as she told photographers at the Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday, March 5 that she's moving on after the diss.
"It comes with the territory, sweetheart," Jada told several photographers who took pictures of her. "Hey look, it comes with the territory but we gotta keep it moving. We gotta keep it moving. We gotta keep it moving. There's a lot of stuff we gotta handle, a lot of stuff in our world right now. We gotta keep it moving."
Back on February 28, the 51-year-old comedian slammed Jada, who boycotted the Oscars for lack of diversity among the 2016 acting nominees, during his opening monologue. "Jada said she's not coming. I was like, 'Isn't she on a TV show?' Jada's gonna boycott the Oscars? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna's panties. I wasn't invited!" Chris said.
During his monologue, Rock also shared his opinion about Will Smith's acting in "Concussion (2015)". "It's not fair that Will was this good and didn't get nominated," he said. "It's also not fair that Will was paid $20 million for 'Wild Wild West'!"
