Deaf 'ANTM' Winner Nyle DiMarco Joins 'Dancing with the Stars'

The 26-year-old model is the latest name to come up on the rumored contestants list for season 22.

AceShowbiz - Nyle DiMarco will bounce from "America's Next Top Model" to "Dancing with the Stars". The winner of cycle 22 is one of the rumored contestants on the upcoming season of ABC's dancing competition show.

The 26-year-old will compete in the 22nd season which premieres this Spring, being paired with Peta Murgatroyd. He might be the first deaf contestant on "ANTM" but is the second on "DWTS". Actress Marlee Matlin competed on the series in 2008 and placed seventh. Acting-wise, DiMarco made an appearance on several episodes of Freeform's "Switched at Birth".

Several other names have also surfaced as alleged contestants of "DWTS" season 22. Actress Jodie Sweetin, UFC fighter Paige VanZant, and "Facts of Life" star Kim Fields were among the rumored cast. ABC has not commented on the casting news but will announce the contestants and their pro-dancer partners on "Good Morning America" on March 8. The 22nd season will then premiere on March 21.

Julianne Hough previously announced that she would not return to the new season after two years at the judges' table. Len Goodman, who took a year off the show, is coming back as her replacement.
